1.1. Cancellations Made 24+ Hours Before Rental Start Date

  • A full refund for all purchased days can be requested up until 24 hours prior to the rental start date provided during the purchase process.
  • 3.5% merchant processing fee will be deducted from the refund total to cover transaction costs.

1.2. Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours of Rental Start Date

  • Day one of the coverage will not be refunded if a refund request is made within 24 hours of the rental start date.
  • Refunds will be issued for any unused days following day one.

1.3. Early Termination of Rental Period

  • If a rental is ended early, a refund will be issued for the unused days of coverage, provided that:
    • Proof of early termination (e.g., confirmation of rental cancellation) is submitted to us via email at support@mollie.rubyat.info before the original contracted end date.
    • The refund will exclude the 3.5% merchant processing fee.

1.4. Same-Day Refunds

  • Requests for same-day refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval requires proof that:
    • No vehicle was rented, or
    • Coverage was never utilized during the rental period.

2. Chargebacks and Disputes

2.1. Impact of Chargebacks

If we become aware of a chargeback or payment dispute for the insurance purchase:

  • The processing of any active claims will be immediately canceled.
  • No refunds or further action will be taken until the chargeback or dispute is fully resolved in our favor.

2.2. Resolution Process

  • Customers are encouraged to contact us directly at support@mollie.rubyat.info to resolve payment issues before initiating a chargeback or dispute.
  • We reserve the right to dispute any chargebacks with supporting evidence, including proof of purchase and service delivery.

3. Fraudulent Claims

Fraudulent claims or misuse of the refund process will result in:

  • Immediate cancellation of the associated policy and claims.
  • Denial of any refunds.
  • Potential legal action to recover costs or damages incurred due to fraudulent activity.

Fraudulent activity includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing false information during the purchase or claims process.
  • Attempting to claim refunds for coverage that was validly used.
  • Submitting falsified documentation for early termination or cancellations.

4. Refund Processing and Methods

4.1. Approved Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30 business days of approval, provided:

  • There is no ongoing claim associated with the policy.
  • There is no active or unresolved chargeback or payment dispute.

4.2. Processing Timeline

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may vary based on your payment provider. If delays occur, please contact your bank or card issuer.

4.3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Failure to cancel coverage at least 24 hours before the rental start date.
  • If coverage was used during the rental period.
  • If there is an active or resolved chargeback against the purchase.
  • Lack of documentation proving early termination of the rental period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, customers must:

6. Proof of Cancellation

For early terminations or refunds of unused days:

  • Documentation should clearly show the renter’s name, the rental company, and the original and revised rental dates.

7. Disputes and Appeals

If you believe your refund request was unfairly denied:
